Energy Efficiency Rebates Available

Homes and Businesses Can Get up to $10,000

Program Offers Incentives for Upgrades to Heating Systems, Insulation, and Windows

The provincial government is offering rebates of up to $10,000 to homeowners and businesses that make energy-efficient upgrades to their properties.

The rebates are available through the CleanBC Home Renovation Rebate program, which provides financial incentives for upgrades such as replacing old heating systems with energy-efficient models, adding insulation to walls and attics, and installing new windows.

"Making energy-efficient upgrades to your home or business is a great way to save money on your energy bills and reduce your carbon footprint," said Bruce Ralston, Minister of Energy, Mines and Petroleum Resources. "These rebates make it easier for people to take action on climate change and improve their homes and businesses."

To be eligible for a rebate, homeowners and businesses must have their upgrades completed by a qualified contractor. The rebates are available on a first-come, first-served basis until the funds are exhausted.

For more information on the rebates and to apply, visit the CleanBC website.

Conclusion: With these rebates, it's easier than ever to make energy-efficient upgrades to your home or business. These upgrades will not only save you money on your energy bills but also reduce your carbon footprint and make our province a greener place.
