Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has sent his condolences to the families of Juan Manuel Izquierdo and Sven-Göran Eriksson, who both passed away recently.
Izquierdo, a former Real Madrid player, died at the age of 75 after a long illness. Eriksson, a former manager of Real Madrid and the England national team, died at the age of 76 after a battle with cancer.
Ancelotti said he was "deeply saddened" by the news of Izquierdo's death. "He was a great player and a wonderful person," Ancelotti said. "He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him."
Ancelotti also expressed his condolences to the family of Eriksson. "He was a great manager and a true gentleman," Ancelotti said. "He will be remembered as one of the best managers of all time."
Both Izquierdo and Eriksson were highly respected figures in the world of football. Their deaths are a great loss to the game.
